Watercolour painting of the City Barn in Middelburg, Zeeland.
The City Barn was built in 1585 in the Dutch Renaissance style, It served to "store City Building Materials and Tools". The building was used by the municipality until 1998. It was then thoroughly restored and was used by several tenants

My focus is on Zeeland.
Living close to dunes, beach and a large nature reserve gives me a rich feeling. A feeling I like to share with others. I want to do that by using my passion for watercolour to depict the most beautiful places, historic towns and villages. So the beauty of this place that attracts many tourists every year. I am currently finishing the images of Walcheren, but the rest of Zeeland will come soon.
With the transparent and colourful look of my watercolours, I also want to show that there is more to Zeeland than mainstream photo images.
