About the artwork

As an abstract art photographer, I am constantly searching for the quiet poetry that lurks in the traces of time and decay. This work, titled "Weathered Power," captures the raw beauty often overlooked in urban settings. The vibrant red and black tones contrast sharply with the weathered grey background, evoking a sense of energy and dynamism. The textures and colours in this picture are reminiscent of the powerful expressiveness of Jean-Michel Basquiat and the subtle, layered approaches of Cy Twombly.

Basquiat's work is known for its raw, unpolished style and use of vibrant colours to convey powerful messages. Like Basquiat, in my photography I try to uncover the unseen beauty and stories hidden in everyday urban landscapes. Twombly's ability to combine texture and abstraction to create a sense of time and decay also has a profound influence on my work.

"Weathered Power" invites the viewer to reflect on the beauty in decay and the stories behind weathered surfaces. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
