About "Western tanager watercolour and ink drawing"

About the artwork

A watercolour drawing of a Western tanager. This bird stands out for its beautiful bright orange and yellow colours. Combined with its black wing feathers, the colours really splash off the bird. This is a male bird during the mating season, when its feathers are at their best, to impress the females.
The songbird was first drawn with crown pen and India ink and coloured in with transparent watercolour and watercolour markers. Later, the background was added digitally. The green leaves of the branches were drawn separately with coloured pencil and also added digitally.
This species is native to North America and winters in Panama. They are between 16 centimetres and 19 centimetres long and have a wingspan of about 33 centimetres. They weigh about 35 grams.
As a bird lover, I also like to draw birds. This little bird has such beautiful plumage that I wanted to add it to my bird collection.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
