On a sunny day, we decided to go for a walk in the woods, knowing that there would be old cars "somewhere" in the woods... What we did not expect was that there were ancient wrecks and pieces of cars just rusting away here, truly cars are being "eaten up" by Mother Nature. With a bit of swampy ground, the cars truly sink into the ground and the various weather conditions do the rest of the work. Mainly, we found cars there that were in such a state of "decomposition" that not even the car make can be traced. Here the cars, yes, about 150 of them, are "resting" in the middle of nature in a place where you just don't expect them. It turns out that an industrious man once bought these cars to use for spare parts, and what he no longer needed was truly "dumped". Needless to say, such places are a "playground" for the photographer!
All-round photography with a preference for Urbex and street photography. The depiction of the past began with a vulgar visit to the village of Doel in Belgium and made the microbe strike in a world of unforced imperfections.
I work with Nikon D850 and Nikon D500, both of which are top-notch devices resulting in razor-sharp images. Also, all images are taken in RAW format, easily translated, I still have to "digitally develop" them myself. Just that makes the hobby even more fun...
I'd like to invite you to my gallery, a treat for the eye!
