"White Gerbera "looking" at its distorted reflection (shades of brown)" is a photograph of a white Gerbera. It looks like the Gerbera is "looking" at the watery reflection on the mirrored surface. (A kind of anthropomorphism: giving human characteristics to flowers / plants) This image, to my mind, has something vulnerable, endearing but at the same time also something funny and tough! A shallow depth-of-field was chosen when making this photo. This ensures that only a small part is in focus and the further you get away from this part oe vague the image becomes. The focus is approximately at the bottom of the heart of the gerbera and at the drop below the heart, on the reflective surface. This creates depth in the work, but also a dreamy atmosphere! The editing has given the photo a somewhat warmer "old-fashioned look".
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration in the waiting room, bedroom, hall or simply above the couch in the living room! Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room (business)
