White face red lips
A collage is an art form that uses cut or torn pieces of paper, which are glued to stronger paper or to canvas with glue. The materials used can be, for example: clippings from magazines (text, photos, advertisements), parts of original photos, drawings, torn pieces of a failed watercolor. The word collage comes from French, from the verb coller, where it means sticking or sticking. The collage was used by an artist like Picasso during his cubist period. Picasso is therefore seen as the inventor of technology. Juan Gris soon followed him. In particular, the technique was used in Dadaism (1916-1920). The exhibition by Otto Van Rees, Adya van Rees-Dutilh and Hans Arp at Galerie Tanner in Zurich in November 1915, where Otto van Rees exhibited collages, was seen by the Dadaists as the starting signal for Dada. It is also applied in surrealism, in pop art, in the Fluxus movement and in the mail art.
I created this artwork entirely on the computer, so there is also a digital artwork.
About myself
In my younger years I was already busy drawing. Later, through my work as a graphic designer, I picked up my old passion again and I started to focus mainly on design. Hobbymatig I am mainly concerned with the editing of digital images. My work is characterized by a grunge style in which I always try to find a balanced composition, where I use color as the basis for my artworks and in which originality plays a major role. My creative abilities come from a wide experience in the field of graphic design and a drawing talent that I have retained from my youth. :-)
Image editing
In the present digital era, much is possible in the field of image editing. I am constantly looking for the possibilities to extend my boundaries with editing photos. Not for everyone the result is always equally beautiful but for me and hopefully many others and it gives me a lot of satisfaction.
A photo or artwork of mine is always unique.
