Windmills in the morning mist at Zaanse Schans by Pieter Struiksma

Pieter Struiksma Profile picture This enchanting photograph was taken in the early morning at the iconic Zaanse Schans, where traditional Dutch windmills rise majestically from a mysterious haze. The gently rising sun illuminates the landscape with warm glow, while the mist gives the area a serene and almost fairy-tale atmosphere. The windmills, with their authentic green accents, stand proudly amidst a vast meadow landscape still damp with dew. This image captures not only the rich Dutch history but also the calmness of a morning slowly coming to life. The contrast between the serenity of nature and the stateliness of the windmills makes this a timeless scene.
