Infrared photograph.
At Abney Park cemetery in London stands the gravestone of John Spreat, a prominent Congregationalist. The neogothic monument was designed by Alfred Waterhouse.
The image may present some noise which is a characteristic of long exposure infrared photographs and makes the image more organic, while its softness gives a sense of ethereality.
