The winter in Norway is long and especially dark is something you often hear... But that you also have beautiful colors and fantastic wildlife is less well known.
Every year, large schools of herring migrate to the northern Norwegian fjords. And they are not alone, hundreds of whales and orcas follow the herring to eat well. With the sun not rising but shining on the sky you can see beautiful colours and that makes the experience even more special...
And remember, in the evening you can see the magical Northern Lights.
