Lady in traditional costume. Gustave Franciscus (Gustaaf) De Smet (Ghent, 21 January 1877 - Deurle, 8 October 1943) was a Flemish painter. Together with Constant Permeke and Frits Van den Berghe, he was among the big three of Flemish expressionism. He often signed his works with Gust. De Smet.
