Description:

Inspired by Mondrian's 1938 "Composition red, blue and yellow", this painting is a fascinating play between geometry and humanity. Mondrian's iconic, clean lines and primary colours form the background, with the simplicity and perfection of right angles defining the work's structure. In the foreground is a mysterious lady, seen from behind wearing a hat, executed in a flowing, white dress that contrasts elegantly with the geometric precision of the background.

Her soft, organic form seems to break away from the rigid lines and blocks of Mondrian's world, while she seems to merge dreamily into the abstract landscape behind her. The contrast between her round forms and the straight lines of the composition emphasises the tension between the mechanical and the natural, between order and spontaneity. This play of opposites symbolises the delicate balance between structure and freedom, while the woman, as a symbol of imagination and poetry, seems to slip away into Mondrian's austere yet timeless world.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
