About the artwork

Old doors are exciting and I love them. And of course, I am always curious about what is behind the door.
What is this Portuguese old, wooden brown door hiding in this historic cottage with the typical, stacked roof tiles?
The paint is peeling off, the windows are glassless and sealed with wood? Inside the house modern, does anyone still live there and what is the age of the occupant of this cute little house? This artistic picture of the wooden old brown door was photographed in a small Portuguese village during my walk along the Fishermen's Trail in the Algarve. Travel photography is one of my greatest passions. I love spending hours wandering through small towns and capturing the atmosphere in my photos.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
