During our visit to Myanmar, we of course visited the famous U Bein bridge near Mandalay. Many people come here to photograph the sunset, but the sunrise is just as beautiful and given the time of day much quieter. If you have been to the bridge it is certainly worthwhile to walk around in the area. Then you can see how daily life gets going and people get to work on the land.

I am Antwan Janssen, travel and nature photographer from Uden. During my many travels on this globe I try to capture all the beauty on photo. As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands. In recent years, several of my photos have won awards in both national and international photo competitions.
