Our photo shows young, not yet fledged eagle owls on their nest in an old oak tree in the middle of the forest. The nest is an ancient goshawk eyrie, which was taken over by the eagle owls. The young eagle owls look attentively in the direction of the camera. The sounds of the camera's shutter release have probably not escaped their fine hearing.
The captivating eye contact with the young eagle owls speaks directly to the viewer. There is much to discover in the detailed image. The beautiful surroundings, a balanced exposure and the natural colors complement the very good overall impression.
