Being inspired by a piece of paper on the floor of my studio. Or by nature. Or by something that happens in my mind. This is one of my art pieces where those things come together. There is no necessary connection. No story to be told. Just all kinds of everything....

I am an artist and I live in Leiden, a smallish old university city in the Netherlands. I used to be a doctor and a therapist/coach. Now I fill my days with painting and drawing. I follow no rules, no styles and make whatever flies into my head. As long as it gives me a feeling of joy and hope, it's okay. I consider my art to be small messages from the universe. I call them Art Sparkles and love to share them with the world. Doing that I hope to spread some moments of Joy, energy and hope around.
My motto is:
