mariska eyck about bird in the night, collage art on black background

The moment I saw this bird coming up in my drawings today, I remembered that I dreamt about birds tonight. Isn't that magic? Or is it just a coincident? Whatever it is, I had a good time cutting out the pieces and pasting them together.
This piece of art is a collage on black paper. There is a cloud made with water soluble crayon on the black paper. On that I glues several cut out drawings and some golden textile amongst others.

I am an artist and I live in Leiden, a smallish old university city in the Netherlands. I used to be a doctor and a therapist/coach. Now I fill my days with painting and drawing. I follow no rules, no styles and make whatever flies into my head. As long as it gives me a feeling of joy and hope, it's okay. I consider my art to be small messages from the universe. I call them Art Sparkles and love to share them with the world. Doing that I hope to spread some moments of Joy, energy and hope around.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
