This picture was taken in a monastery dating back to the first half of the 15th century, more precisely to 1441, located on a hill and dominating the neighbourhood below . In the 17th century, it became a seminary of all liberal arts. Since its foundation, there had been a novitiate, a professorship and a study of philosophy. In 1609, the edifice was enlarged and enriched with a library very well known at the time. In the nineteenth century, the number of friars began to decrease, until in 1894 the monastery was used as a cemetery. It was permanently closed in 1914, with the exception of the internal church, which was still in use until the 1950s. Recently, during the restructuring and redevelopment of the monument, some old paintings were found in the church. If you buy work from us, be sure to send us the result. We are always very curious to know what the result turned out to be. :)
