This very special structure is a mosque and cathedral in one. On the originally Roman temple, a church was first built and later turned into a huge mosque by the Moors. In the 13th century, it was recaptured by the Catholics and turned into a cathedral again. Both inside and outside, the different architectural styles, Catholic and Moorish, are clearly recognisable.
