As the sun tried its best to break through the clouds, the daisies were in full bloom. The hunebed in the background in hunebed d29. Also called the valentine hunebed. Since one stone is shaped like a heart. The sunrise, the many daisies and the hunebed, made for a unique location to photograph.

My camera has gradually become part of my body. My own experience as a widow led me to specialise in creating tangible memories in the last phase of life and during funerals, also known as farewell photography.
In addition, nature also continues to attract me immensely to capture. From sunrises to sunsets and everything in between. Every season has its charms. The beautiful province of Drenthe, where I live, lends itself well to my photography. The rich natural areas and colossal dolmens are a feast for the eyes.
