Goedereede is the only town on the peninsula Goeree-Overflakkee, in the province of South Holland. It used to be an important fishing town with ramparts. The name Goedereede therefore means "safe harbour/anchoring place".

Rick is a passionate photographer who graduated from Fotovakschool Rotterdam.
He has a particular passion for black and white photography and above all specially
interested in people and what moves them.
In 2013 he completed a masterclass Portrait training with the Amsterdam photographer,
Govert de Roos.
Nowadays he specializes in business and private studio portraits, weddings and short
documentaries.
His business background gives him a strong focus on business photographic needs
in areas such as marketing, business reports, media releases and website support.
