A fairytale beautiful lake near Banff is the Two Jack Lake. The lake lies on Lake Minnewanka Scenic drive, a 24 km long route through the beautiful area east of Banff. It is much quieter here than Banff itself and just as beautiful. Along the lake are beautiful hiking trails and a beautiful campsite from where you have a view of the lake from your tent or camper. We ourselves have been on this campsite for 2 nights and have spent many hours sitting at the edge of the lake and enjoying so much beauty. This picture was taken at 5 o'clock in the morning. Straight out of the camper and enjoy the silence of the early morning

As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands.
