Looking trough the opening in the chaos of creation there is a restful landscape with a bright shining sun. Where do we want to be? On this side of creation, not fully formed but filled with possibilities or on the other side in the calm area? What do we need to be on one of either sides and to be able to travel from one state to the other and back? We need eyes, gentleness and bravery. And we need to feel deeply that we're all miracles...
This is a piece where I use many different materials: ink, spray can, acrylic paint and paint pens.

I am an artist and I live in Leiden, a smallish old university city in the Netherlands. I used to be a doctor and a therapist/coach. Now I fill my days with painting and drawing. I follow no rules, no styles and make whatever flies into my head. As long as it gives me a feeling of joy and hope, it's okay. I consider my art to be small messages from the universe. I call them Art Sparkles and love to share them with the world. Doing that I hope to spread some moments of Joy, energy and hope around.
