Art Frame vs. Canvas
The differences at a glance:
- Art Frames come with a separate aluminium frame as standard. The actual picture is printed onto a special textile which can be simply pressed into this frame. Extra textile prints can be ordered so that you can easily change the image without taking down the frame.

- Are you interested in improving the acoustics of your home or office? Art Frames can be supplied with sound absorbing panels which reduce echoes; this is not an option with canvas.
- Would you like to show off with a larger work? Art Frames can be ordered up to 15 x 3 metres. The maximum size for canvas is 250 x 140 cm. For Canvas there are more shipping restrictions, the maximum size for canvas is smaller. You can find these measurements when ordering your picture.

Order your Art Frame with sound-absorbing panels and improve of the acoustics. These panels are placed behind the textile print and are therefore not visible. The textile is produced with microscopic holes through which sound can pass before being absorbed by the panel.

The fabric has a very finely woven structure that does not affect the sharpness of the image and is barely visible to the naked eye.
The fabric and frame are matt and therefore do not reflect light.
The frame is available in black (RAL 9005), white (RAL 9003) and silver, as standard.

The acoustic material is not visible from the front. The total thickness of an Art Frame is 2.6 cm.
Art Frame is supplied as a self-assembly kit. A helpful manual and video link are included, but assembly is extremely straightforward. An allen key is supplied to assemble the separate aluminium edges.
The art print has a rubber string bonded to its edges. This string is easily pushed into the metal slots of the aluminium frame. Start with the corners, and then press the middle parts into place.
The art print will be stretched tightly within the frame, and the rubber string will be completely concealed.
No. The frame consists of 4 parts as standard. If a side is longer than 150 cm, it is split into two parts. This makes it easier to ship the package.
Yes, absolutely! When you feel like something new, you can easily change the print for something new in the same size. Exchanging one for the other takes just a few minutes.
The thickness of the frame is 2,6 cm. From the front, the frame is hardly visible, with a width of just 2 mm.
The frame weighs around 700 grams per metre. The included corner sections weigh a total of 3 kg.
Our experience is that it is best to stretch the art print in the frame so that any small creases disappear within two days. If this is not the case, please let us know.
It is possible to have a photo printed through us. However, it is important that this photo is taken with a good camera in high resolution and that you are the rightful owner of the photo. Here you can upload your own photo on Art Frame.
The minimum size is 30x30 cm and the maximum is 15 x 3 metres.

If you selected a landscape work for your Art Frame, and you want to change it to a portrait work for another Art Frame later on, this is no problem! The frame has a multifunctional hanging system, so you can always turn it 90 degrees.

Art Frame is supplied as a self-assembly kit. A helpful manual and video link are included, but assembly is extremely straightforward. An allen key is supplied to assemble the separate aluminium edges.
Art Frame is not intended for a ceiling track system. Pictures hung on a rail system typically hang at an angle. In order to achieve a sound damping effect with an Art Frame it must sit tightly against a wall.
If you selected a landscape work for your Art Frame, and you want to change it to a portrait work for another Art Frame later on, this is no problem! The frame has a multifunctional hanging system, so you can always turn it 90 degrees.
Delivery
Art Frame is delivered as a self-assembly kit, including a handy Allen key. It is packaged in a sturdy cardboard box.

A courier will collect the parcel from us and deliver it directly to your home or office. We work with couriers who are used to handling fragile parcels.
