About the artwork

This painting is about childhood bonds, love, trust and friendship. It is inspired by my own memories of growing up and tries to capture that special bond between two friends, a bond that feels truly pure and unshakable. The boy and girl are standing on a hill, their arms wrapped around each other, looking at something we cannot see. This reminds us of all the secrets and dreams that bring close friends together and keep the rest of the world at bay. The sky above them is blue with a few clouds, reminding us of possibilities, hope and innocence. It frames their silhouettes and adds a sense of boundless wonder, grounding the scene in reality and imagination.The hill on which they stand is symbolic - it is a place where they momentarily rise together above the uncertainties of life.This work captures an intimate moment of quiet reflection and invites viewers to feel the warmth of connection and the bittersweet longing for pristine friendships of days gone by.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
