The tide has turned, low tide is on its way. The sea is retreating and the pool of water left behind on the beach is no longer connected to the sea. In the foreground, a reminder of the high tide in the form of ridges in the sand.
The focus in this image is on the center, while the two sandbanks invite to open up the gaze and drawing it into a wider perspective.
