Abstract Nature | Calming abstract collage with trees and birds

The summer vacations are almost over for me, but what a pleasure it was to be outdoors, in nature, in the peace and quiet, in the fresh air, with the wind rustling through the trees and the birds singing. So many impressions, all together, yet coming in as the ultimate expression of peace.

I wanted to hold on to that feeling for a while and have depicted it here in an abstract collage of birds, trees, branches in the grayish colors of brown, terracotta, taupe, blue and a touch of green.

I love everything that has to do with art, culture and creativity. Experiencing, creating, teaching and communicating. Through language, image, non-verbal and through the musical voice.

I became known for my commissioned ink portraits. My work was first shown to a large audience in the program VTWonen Weer verliefd op je huis (February 2021). I make many ink portraits of and for individuals; from pregnancy portraits, wedding portraits, child portraits, love portraits and family portraits to portraits of pets such as dogs, cats, horses and birds. These ink portraits are all handmade by the way, drawn and painted with east indian ink on watercolor paper.

In my shop at work on the wall you can order my Digital Art. Because I normally work almost exclusively on commission, my autonomous art via Digital Art is really a wonderful experimental outlet. This also means that I keep experimenting with painting techniques and collage techniques using Photoshop. Although I love to experiment, quality comes first
