About ‘Algae art Wimereux Opal Coast France’ by Watze D. de Haan

Along the Opal Coast in Pas de Calais France, you will find many places with necessary coastal defences. This can range from wooden posts to massive concrete walls aimed at breaking the waves to prevent the coast there from washing away.
The photo shows an example of this.
At low tide in Wimereux, such'a block is released and you can see how algae have attached themselves to such blocks.
A fascinating sight to which your eye is drawn as shown here in the photo. Besides the algae, it is also a place for mussels etc.
All kinds of fantasies can be played out on the photo, I immediately saw a wild boar in it.
The photo was taken with a Pentax KP and Sigma 18-200mm lens topped with a circular polarisation filter and edited in PS. Algae art in Wimereux Opal Coast France.
