About the artwork

Back - A Story in Yellow is part of a unique series inspired by the style of iconic Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf. Capturing the everyday moments of a young lady in a yellow dress, this series offers a subtle glimpse of her day, from home with her father to a date. In this work, we see her, along with her date, sitting in the car, in a scene that evokes a sense of cinematic nostalgia.

With a masterful combination of AI techniques, photography and photomontage, Behind is a tribute to Erwin Olaf, who was known for his ability to tell stories through images full of contrast and emotion. Each work in the "A Story in Yellow" series shows the young woman in a different setting, with ever-changing characters, so that each image retains its own story and independence.

What makes this work extra special is that part of the proceeds go to the Dutch Lung Fund, as a tribute to Erwin Olaf, who was himself a lung patient for many years, and in support of this important charity. As a lung function analyst, this project is not only an artistic expression for me, but also a way to raise awareness and contribute to the fight against lung diseases.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
