About ‘Beach at Domburg’ by Sander Poppe

Getting a breath of fresh air on the beach, looking out over the North Sea. That is exactly what I was doing here on a beautiful spring evening near Domburg.

It is always lovely to be on Walcheren in Zeeland. And as a born Zeeuw, you feel at home here. Hearing the sea, counting waves until when the next big wave comes. It just happens automatically. And you know, every wave is different. That's the beauty of just watching the sea from the beach. It never gets boring.

In recent years, a lot has happened for me personally. Then your head is full of thoughts. You would like to get rid of them from time to time. Recently, I have noticed that photography is still a means for me to do that. It remains challenging but giving up is not really an option.

Last months I also photographed in a park/forest/estate. Also made beautiful photos (to follow later). but the water keeps calling. How wonderful it was to end this period with the family in Oostkapelle.
