The beautiful rust brown colours come together particularly beautifully with the sparkling, warm gold. The combination of colours creates a beautiful, chic glamour look with a touch of oriental mystery.

With this abstract watercolour, combined with various painting techniques, you bring nature inside in a subtle way through an abstract painting with marble effect with a clear flower with pestle on the right in the foreground.

As summer nears its end, autumn colours are coming back into the interior. Like ochre yellow, rust brown, orange and deep red. In this painting, these colours return in a calm form. The deep red tends towards brown, the rust brown tends towards terracotta and the yellow ochre tends towards gold.

The whole is a warm colour sensation that grounds you with the choice of composition, the most important thing at the bottom.

I became known for my commissioned ink portraits. My work was first shown to a large audience in the program VTWonen Weer verliefd op je huis (February 2021). I make many ink portraits of and for individuals; from pregnancy portraits, wedding portraits, child portraits, love portraits and family portraits to portraits of pets such as dogs, cats, horses and birds. These ink portraits are all handmade by the way, drawn and painted with east indian ink on watercolor paper.

In my shop at work on the wall you can order my Digital Art. Because I normally work almost exclusively on commission, my autonomous art via Digital Art is really a wonderful experimental outlet. This also means that I keep experimenting with painting techniques and collage techniques using Photoshop. Although I love to experiment, quality comes first
