Botanical Brilliance XI / Botanical Beauty Abstract flowers watercolour / alcohol ink in pink, purple, turquoise, gold and white
Botanical | Botanism | Glamour
The beautiful pink, purple and turquoise pastel colours come together particularly beautifully with the gold in this painting. The combination of colours creates a beautiful, chic, romantic look with a touch of oriental mystery and art nouveau and a hefty load of softness and love.
The diagonal composition where the focus is on the left below the diagonal line from top left to bottom right makes it look worn against a white background of watercolour paper. Without becoming heavy, as the dynamics of the organic and diagonal lines set the painting in motion. The brush strokes are interspersed here and there with splashes of paint at the pistils and outliers.
The pink flower with the large golden pistil attracts most attention, but at the same time flows smoothly into the other abstract flowers. So soft and transparent, they look like oriental robes that seem to float over each other like drapes in a weightless whole.
It's time to bring the outside in. With this abstract watercolour, combined with various painting techniques, from watercolour, acrylic ink, brushstrokes and paint splashes, you bring nature inside in a subtle and romantic way through an abstract painting.
The flowers are built up like an alcohol ink painting combined with a watercolour. Here and there, the flowers are accompanied by art nouveau line work in gold and deep colour variations of the pastels on show. Pink, purple, turquoise and gold dominate alongside white in this painting.
I am MadameRuiz, and am an artist by profession. I hope to delight you with my work. Here in my profile, or on your wall :) Both are fun!
Will you let me know what you think of my work? I would love to get in touch with you. Also when you have one of my works in your home I am very curious about the end result in your interior.
I love everything that has to do with art, culture and creativity. Experiencing, creating, teaching and communicating. Through language, image, non-verbal and through the musical voice.
I became known for my commissioned ink portraits. My work was first shown to a large audience in the program VTWonen Weer verliefd op je huis (February 2021). I make many ink portraits of and for individuals; from pregnancy portraits, wedding portraits, child portraits, love portraits and family portraits to portraits of pets such as dogs, cats, horses and birds. These ink portraits are all handmade by the way, drawn and painted with east indian ink on watercolor paper.
In my shop at work on the wall you can order my Digital Art. Because I normally work almost exclusively on commission, my autonomous art via Digital Art is really a wonderful experimental outlet. This also means that I keep experimenting with painting techniques and collage techniques using Photoshop. Although I love to experiment, quality comes first
