About ‘Burren - Limestone boulders on the beach at Fanore’ by Western Exposure

The last ice age left behind large limestone boulders, also known as "erractics" in parts of the Burren karst landscape in the West of Ireland, including on this rocky shore at Fanore on the Atlantic coast. Looking out over the water, the Twelve Bens mountain range in Connemara is just about visible.
