Classic vintage chrome microphone in black and white watercolor, famous throughout the 40s, 50s and 60s.
One of the most visually iconic microphones is the Unidyne series, seen in use by heads of state and popular recording artists and performers from the 1940s through the end of the twentieth century, including presidents, activists and music legends. The original 55 Unidyne microphone was first produced in 1939 and designed as a rugged public address microphone with good audio performance. It was notable for its single-element, unidirectional design, which was smaller, less susceptible to feedback, and less sensitive to ambient noise than other microphones of the time.
This microphone type and design is sometimes referred to as the "Elvis mic".
Several variants of the original model have been since produced and updated with the latest technology, however the iconic design has remained a favorite among musicians, karaoke singers, radio hosts, disc jockeys and even interior designers for the retro home, bar or studio decor.
Hello! My name is Andreea Eva Herczegh and I'm a photographer with an interest in architecture, travel and nature, the performing arts and street photography, with a passion for black and white.
Architectural photography for me is capturing the lines, curves, shapes and environment of buildings and structures from different ages and places.
I am very much a city person, but every now and then, nature calls ;-) and I go out to take photos of beautiful landscapes that move me and of the amazing creatures with which we share the world.
While photographing music concerts or festivals and theater plays, I am constantly looking for that expression or gesture that evokes emotion, that certain scene that tells a story or that dramatic lighting effect.
In street photography I try to capture the city life, as it unfolds in front of me, while also trying to set up a scene and find the contrast.
Traveling is an enormous pleasure for me, a source of education and of energy, which has provided me with great opportunities to observe and capture different cultures and environments, basically encompassing all of the above.
Here are my fine art prints and products of photos from my lens to your walls, for your home and office rooms wall art, to hopefully provide inspiration for your home decor and interior design.
