I often see quay walls where the ravages of time have created beautiful colourful structures, but this old concrete quay wall surpasses them all. Really everything has been pulled out to make it a colourful work of art: algae, lichen, lime scale, rust and more. A few plants seem to flourish in this environment; other flora has not made it. Here and there the straight lines of the formwork are just visible but more numerous are the irregular cracks in the concrete, here and there repaired provisionally with a squirt of mortar. On the left, a piece of rusty reinforcement steel has come into view. In short: there is a lot to see on a piece of wall of less than two square metres.
My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.
