Everyone knows the zwebad series by British artist David Hockney and yes, this work is based on it. However, I would like to add something naughty. The water of the pool is wrinkle-free and neatly taut. The rim of the pool and the walls are immaculate. Only one text has been added to the wall. It says that it is forbidden to dive into the pool. We can only guess why.
The woman in the sculpture takes no notice of the ban and dives into the water with a big splash.
Life would be boring if you followed all the rules, so dive and jump into life is so much more pleasant.
It is also a symbol of the lives of many women who have to walk in step all the time.
Why? Because that is what men want? No, ladies, go for it.
