André van der Meulen Profile picture This tiny house in the middle of the larges sandy plain of northern Europe was used to rescue stranded sailors for over a century. It contained dry clothes, water, food, and a telephone line to call for help. This “Drenkelingenhuisje” is not needed anymore with current technology and lost its purpose. Nowadays it functions as a beachcombers museum an wedding location. The fence is made of random objects that drifted ashore.
