About the artwork

The first production Duesenberg was the SJ Speedster, which had a two-and-a-half-ton curb weight. The car was also very fast, with speeds up to 320 mph. Its design made it unique, as its pipes were not the standard type found in other luxury marques. The resulting car had a distinctive and unique look, which was enhanced by a custom coachwork option.

The Duesenberg SJ Speedster from 1933 was made in small numbers and was highly sought after. It was sold for $500K new and in the early 1980s, the car sold for $1.4 million. It is still in the family and is an excellent example of a classic car. Despite being in a private collection, this rare example is a rare and valuable find for an enthusiast. If you're looking to purchase a vintage Duesenberg, be sure to visit the website above.

The Duesenberg SJ Speedster from 1933 is one of the finest examples of American luxury cars. This incredibly rare vehicle was built for the Chicago Century of Progress Exposition. It had a 420 cubic-inch I-8 engine and was considered the fastest car in its class at the time. It was an instant status symbol and still remains so today. This Duesenberg SJ was created for two of the city's most prominent figures, H.G. Liebhardt and Derham.
