Dynamics of a city at sunset
Discover the enchanting world of "Dynamics of a city at sunset", a digital painting by artist MadameRuiz.
Top right, we see the sun, about to take cover behind the city's high-rise buildings. In various shades of red, pink, orange, light blue and dark blue, the silhouettes of the apartment buildings are visible in abstract geometric shapes. Predominantly, we see nature and traffic on the way home in expressive sweeps.
This abstract painting captures the essence of urban life during the hasty evening hours, when a city comes alive under the last rays of the setting sun. The moment of going home and coming home. The moment of the end of your day and the beginning of your evening.
The painting reveals a dynamic choreography of quick sweeping strokes, reflecting not only the speed of commuters but also the pulsating rhythm of city life. The colours dance on the canvas, with warm hues such as pinks, reds, oranges and creams of the setting sun contrasting with the shadows of the city coming to life.
To add to the hectic nature of city life, the painting was painted with digital expressive brushstrokes. The painting was created in Photoshop using digital brushes.
I am MadameRuiz, and am an artist by profession. I hope to delight you with my work. Here in my profile, or on your wall :) Both are fun!
Will you let me know what you think of my work? I would love to get in touch with you. Also when you have one of my works in your home I am very curious about the end result in your interior.
I love everything that has to do with art, culture and creativity. Experiencing, creating, teaching and communicating. Through language, image, non-verbal and through the musical voice.
I became known for my commissioned ink portraits. My work was first shown to a large audience in the program VTWonen Weer verliefd op je huis (February 2021). I make many ink portraits of and for individuals; from pregnancy portraits, wedding portraits, child portraits, love portraits and family portraits to portraits of pets such as dogs, cats, horses and birds. These ink portraits are all handmade by the way, drawn and painted with east indian ink on watercolor paper.
In my shop at work on the wall you can order my Digital Art. Because I normally work almost exclusively on commission, my autonomous art via Digital Art is really a wonderful experimental outlet. This also means that I keep experimenting with painting techniques and collage techniques using Photoshop. Although I love to experiment, quality comes first
