Erasmus Bridge in sepia

Dark clouds gather over Erasmus Bridge. This photo was taken from the head of Noordereiland, the spot with perhaps the best view of Rotterdam's most famous bridge. In the background, we can see Wilhelmina Pier, including De Rotterdam building and a cruise ship docked at the cruise terminal. I converted the photo to a sepia tint because that, in my humble opinion, shows the bridge at its best.

My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.

Originally trained as an architect and living in Rotterdam, I draw significant inspiration from the architecture and history of Roffa/Rotjeknor/Bokitodonk. Additionally, travels to places like Iceland and Great Britain, as well as walks in the Netherlands, provide ample material for my work.
