Fire And Forest

Fire and Forest is an acrylic pour painting that combines the bright, hot colours of yellow and red with more cooling shades of green, with just a hint of blue. The colours occupy discrete portions of the canvas but, at the same time, mingle in places. The effect I have created allows the feeling of movement within the piece, as if the colours are rising from the bottom of the canvas in an almost effervescent way. The paint has created bubbles and cells that mingle and merge as lines streak down as if trying to ground the paint in the lower part of the painting. A gorgeous painting that looks fabulous on a plain wall and certainly creates a talking point!

Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.
