About "Ford Capri From 1973"

About the artwork

During the early to mid-1970's, Ford was a big player in the car industry and a popular vehicle. They were known for quality workmanship, reliability, and durability. Starting with their Ford Capri from 1973, the Ford classic car culture began. Capris, Corsets, and Thunderbirds ruled the streets of America's Greatest City.

There were several reasons for this popularity. First off, the Ford Capri was a practical everyday vehicle for daily use. The Capri was also easy to fix if something went wrong with it. Another reason these were so popular was the wide variety of options available when choosing a classic car. You had your choice of several types of body styles and colors.

However, there came a point in time where the Ford Capri from 1973 would be losing that status it enjoyed during its initial reign as America's favorite sports car. This is because something was amiss. The Ford Capri from 1973 was no longer being manufactured and it wasn't long before they would discontinue production altogether. It was during this time when Ford decided to bring back another version of their classic cars, the Ford Trivia. These replacement models sported smaller engines, lowered front fenders, and were redesigned to resemble much more modern-day Ford vehicles such as the Ford Focus and Ford C-MAX.
