This painting takes me right back to a rainy summer afternoon from my childhood. It's so lovely to realise that I've held this memory so dear all this time! It's as though I see myself in the carefree girl, her laughter echoing my own as I danced through puddles. Oh, how I wish I could be carefree like that again! The flutter of her green dress feels just like my favourite summer outfit, spinning with joy! It's such a simple yet happy memory!
The lush greens of the trees blend so beautifully with her movements, swaying like old friends chatting about the rains of long ago. I can almost smell the earthy freshness, feel the gentle summer rain on my skin, and reconnect with the magical simplicity that once made the world feel so inviting. It's such a lovely feeling!
