The Hooglandse Kerkgracht is a street and former canal in the centre of the Dutch city of Leiden. The street in the district Pancras-west runs between the Oude Rijn from the Kerkbrug south towards the Hooglandse Kerk, after which the street is named, to the Nieuwstraat. On this street there are several national monuments. Moreover, the street is characterized as a protected townscape.
In 2004 the street was completely redesigned as part of the 'Binnenste Beter' (Inner Better) project, with the parking spaces in the central reservation disappearing and the whole thing taking on a car-free character.
As a child, there was already a predilection for visual art. As a technician, I was always creative in products, services and working methods. In later years, more time was taken for my art (photography) passion.
