Kinderdijk | Many windmills in a row Painting of a typical Dutch landscape Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the Dutch landscape with this painting of Kinderdijk. The painting shows the iconic windmills that are so typical of rural Holland. With many mills in a row, they are a popular attraction for tourists from all over the world. It is not on the UNESCO World Heritage List for nothing. The painting is a digital adaptation reminiscent of William Turner's romantic paintings, as well as the drippings of action painter Jackson Pollock. The combination of photography and painting, and the struggle between abstraction and realism, but this an interesting image for your interior. The colours are soft, romantic. Warm shades of blue and beige dominate. As a result, the painting exudes softness, tranquillity and serenity.
For me, the mill is always a memory of the past. In my grandparents' garden, there was a miniature version (about one and a half metres high). I have such fond memories of my time with these wonderful people that the mill brings back that feeling for me again and again.
I am MadameRuiz, and am an artist by profession. I hope to delight you with my work. Here in my profile, or on your wall :) Both are fun!
Will you let me know what you think of my work? I would love to get in touch with you. Also when you have one of my works in your home I am very curious about the end result in your interior.
I love everything that has to do with art, culture and creativity. Experiencing, creating, teaching and communicating. Through language, image, non-verbal and through the musical voice.
I became known for my commissioned ink portraits. My work was first shown to a large audience in the program VTWonen Weer verliefd op je huis (February 2021). I make many ink portraits of and for individuals; from pregnancy portraits, wedding portraits, child portraits, love portraits and family portraits to portraits of pets such as dogs, cats, horses and birds. These ink portraits are all handmade by the way, drawn and painted with east indian ink on watercolor paper.
In my shop at work on the wall you can order my Digital Art. Because I normally work almost exclusively on commission, my autonomous art via Digital Art is really a wonderful experimental outlet. This also means that I keep experimenting with painting techniques and collage techniques using Photoshop. Although I love to experiment, quality comes first
