Spring had been in the air for a few weeks and for just as long these two kingfishers had been busy making a nest in the area. However, the weather turned and even provided a layer of snow for a while. A day later, it was still very cold, but it didn't stop them from mating right where I had hoped. The conditions were optimal, which is reflected in the quality. The full number of pixels of the Nikon Z7 in beautiful light, as a photographer it makes you pause for a moment.
For more than 20 years I have been enchanted by the beauty and lifestyle of these beautiful birds. My passion is to capture these wonders of nature in the most beautiful and natural way possible.
