Swiss-German artist Paul Klee often played with color and form and with relationships between colors. Here I play with his geometric grid pattern works or "magic square" series, his Ancient Harmony (Alter Klang), painted around 1925. Taking his work into the digital space, his grid squares turned into diagonally arranged squares and rectangles, with overlays and hue changes resulting in this harmonious assemblage of blues, dark browns, chromatic grays and muted violets.
