About the artwork

Few insects are welcomed with as much pleasure as the ladybird. Especially children, but also adults, often exclaim excitedly "Look, a ladybird!" when they see the brightly coloured beetle walking on a branch or leaf in the garden.

Part of the reason why people often speak positively about the 'lovely little beetle' is that the animal has been used for ages as a kind of biological pesticide, for example in greenhouses and orchards to control aphids. But it is also a welcome guest in the backyard as an aphid control agent.

Ladybirds have been very popular for ages and are considered lucky charmers. Because the little animal is useful, but also because, according to many, it looks friendly and innocent. For this reason, the ladybird is also the symbol for actions against senseless violence. Whether aphids can understand this, however, is very questionable...

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
