Unique durable portrait of Lionel Messi (Argentina) handmade with paint residue on waste wood
Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini (Rosario (Argentina), 24 June 1987), short for Lionel Messi, is an Argentine-Spanish footballer who usually plays as a striker. He is considered one of the best players of all time. Messi progressed from FC Barcelona's youth academy in 2004, where he achieved all his successes until he was forced to leave the club in August 2021 and signed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Because of his height and speed, he is nicknamed La Pulga (The Flea). In 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019 and 2021, he was named best footballer in the world, a record.
In 2005, Messi made his debut in the Argentine football team, with whom he won the Copa América on 10 July 2021 and became world champion on 18 December 2022. He has captained La Albiceleste since 2011, crowned top scorer of all time in 2016 and became a record international in 2021.
This artworks is offered by hou2use
Unique, affordable and personalized art, portraits and gifts on preferably old, used or discarded wood.
We are Gerhard van Dijkhuizen and Colet Scheper. Together we came up with the concept hou2use. Based on a photo we invent, design and create unique, personal and affordable art on wood. We strongly believe in sustainability and therefore we prefer to make portraits of people or (domestic) animals on used or discarded wood.
We love most art on commission. We then conceive and create, together with you and especially for you, a custom-made work of art or portrait on wood.
Thanks to our special collaboration with Werk aan de Muur, you can also reproduce our unique work in virtually any format and on virtually any material!
