This photo was taken in Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda. We saw this lioness from a great distance with something in her mouth, but at first had no idea what it was. Only when she came out from behind the bush did we see that it was a cub. When I took this picture she had already hidden a cub in the bushes. Then she went back for this one. now I was ready for it and printed at exactly the right time.
