A man stands up and a sand dune in the desert. The question is what is the man looking at? The photo was taken in the Sahara, the largest desert in Africa. In the north of the huge country of Mauritania.
In a breathtaking landscape. A sea of sand, a sea of sand dunes. It is wonderful to walk through the dunes and enjoy the nothingness, the silence and the space. You feel that as a human being you are nothing in this environment. And it is quiet. You hear and feel the wind. There is nothing else. And the sun. Colouring the dunes. From warm red to hard yellow. And it is warm, during the day. In the summer it can reach 50 degrees, in the winter it is often around 25 degrees. In the night it cools down quickly. As soon as the sun goes down. That is also what the man is looking at, at the setting sun. It was a beautiful day.
Diana and Ronnie like to travel to areas where few tourists come.
With our photography we want to take the viewer along on our journeys of discovery. We like to meet other people and enjoy the beauty of a country. We want to tell stories and thus touch the viewer, make them curious, make them think and inspire them.
Diana: "My passion for photography was born through travel."
Ronnie: "I prefer to travel to countries around the Sahara and the Himalayas."
